Following the overwhelming success of its first editions, Young at Heart, Sydney's 3rd Seniors Film Festival, returns April 6 - 13 as a flagship event of NSW Seniors Week.
The Festival features a week of film premieres, beloved classics, free workshops, parties and exclusive Q&A's at Dendy Opera Quays and the Ritz Cinema in Randwick.
During the week, festival-goers can also win great prizes with the Young at Heart Raffle. First prize is a fantastic trip for two to New Caledonia, supported by New Caledonia Tourism, Aircalin and 5-star hotel Le Meridien Noumea.
"Young at Heart gives people of all ages a rare chance to enjoy prestigious new films, meet the filmmakers and take part in a fun and relaxed cultural event with friends and relatives," said Matt Ravier, Young at Heat Artistic Director.
"Seniors will also benefit from fantastic discounts on entry prices to screenings and events throughout the whole week," he said.
Film festival tickets go on sale 17 March. For further details visit www.youngatheart.net.au. To receive a program in the post, call 02 9281 5608. Full NSW Seniors Week Event Guides will also be available at local registered clubs or online at www.nswseniorsweek.com.au from 14 March.
Young at Heart is presented by The Festivalists and the NSW Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (DADHC) as part of the celebrations for the 50th annual NSW Seniors Week. More than 700 events are marking the occasion across the State.
