Pick up a free 50th NSW Seniors Week program available at your local clubs.
The week is one of the southern hemisphere’s biggest celebrations for older people, with more than 700 free or discounted events planned between 6-13 April.
Highlights include The Young at Heart Film Festival headed by acclaimed actor Nancye Hayes, a free Kamahl performance at Darling Harbour and hundreds of walks, talks, tours and comedy shows.
More than quarter of a million copies of the program are available at over 1300 registered clubs, such as league’s clubs, RSLs and bowling clubs across regional and metropolitans areas of the state.
NSW Seniors Week is led by the NSW Government and organised by the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (DADHC) to thank seniors for the contribution they make to their communities.
